Crestia: new name, continued partnership with Fingrid
We have two important announcements: a company name change and an update on our continued partnership.
Crestia: a new name, updated strategy coming
Our company name has changed from Kaarinan Insinööritoimisto Oy to Crestia Oy. The new brand is a better fit for our increasing international partnerships and provides more flexibility as we broaden our service offerings. The quality and content of our design work continue as before, and we will update our service portfolio over time. Our email addresses are now in the @crestia.fi domain.
Continued partnership with Fingrid
After four years of collaboration, we have renewed our framework agreement with Fingrid for expert services, now covering 2024-2028. The agreement reflects long-term collaboration and trust in the energy sector. The scope of services includes:
- Transmission Line Design: Preliminary and general design of 110-400 kV power lines, encompassing structural design of foundations and towers.
- Substation Building Design: Design of 110-400 kV substation buildings, covering base, architectural, structural, and HVAC systems.
- Infrastructure Design: Substation area planning, geotechnical engineering, drainage design, road design, traffic planning, railway design, transformer loading points on the rail network, bridge design, and bridge capacity calculations.
The renewed and expanded agreement allows us to continue working on important energy infrastructure projects.
